At Stonecoal Trail through the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Stonecoal Trail overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Red Creek, and if you came to camp Red Creek Campground is a splendid spot to do that. Coming to this river is always a good idea. Some nearby water includes Fisher Spring Run,     and camping at Blackwater Lodge is always a great experience. Stonecoal Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest.
