  This part of Wyoming is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Teton County of Wyoming, Alaska Basin Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. While staying at Alaska Basin Trail you could always discover Mount Meek Pass; camping at Jenny Lake Campground is always a glorious experience.
It's a long drive from Jackson to Alaska Basin Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. A pleasant tour to Alaska Basin is a tremendous
    way to spend an afternoon, and do pay a visit to Grand Teton National Park since you're here at Alaska Basin Trail. At Alaska Basin Trail you don’t see much precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest.
