This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Bears Ears Trail is a brilliant spot to camp, Big Sandy Campground is a brilliant spot, and why not a little side trip to Baptiste Creek. A great place near Bears Ears Trail is Washakie Pass, and there are some great whitewater spots on Middle Popo Agie River. Bears Ears Trail being so far away from the nearest city trails like these are great. Bears Ears Trail gets very little precipitation;     most of the rain falls during May while December is usually the driest month. No chance of getting bored in Wyoming if you like the outdoors. High temperatures at Bears Ears Trail through the summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bears Ears Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bull Lake Creek, and you can stay the night at Dickinson Creek Campground.
