| 20's while the cold winter nights at Blackwater Trail are in the 0's. Shoshone River - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot next to Blackwater Trail. There's so much to do here at Blackwater Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Newton Creek Campground is a fine place for that. Take a little tour to Newton Creek while you're here at Blackwater Trail. Some nearby water includes West Fork Blackwater Creek, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoshone River - South Fork.
