You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Boulder Campground is a splendid site to camp; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pole Creek. Around Burnt Lake Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most; |
February meanwhile is the driest month.
Why not camp at Boulder Lake Campground while you're here at Burnt Lake Trail; Boulder Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Burnt Lake Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is a great place to go.
| This river is a wonderful place to visit. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Wind River Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. Summertime highs at Burnt Lake Trail mostly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Burnt Lake Trail temperatures sink to the-10's.
