| | Cascade Creek Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking it is great fun any time. Stay the night at Wood River Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Wind River - East Fork offers some splendid whitewater. Cascade Creek is a tremendous site to check out.
If you are in Wyoming during hiking season you have to go hiking. A wonderful site near Cascade Creek Trail is Coal Chute Pass, and hey, Horse Creek is a fine local stream. At Cascade Creek Trail through the summertime highs are in the 80's with night lows in the |
40's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cascade Creek Trail.
Cascade Creek Trail is a location that is pretty dried out typically; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile
| is the driest month. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Cascade Creek Trail is a good spot to camp, Brown Mountain Campground is a good spot, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Greybull River. Hiking trails are all over the Absaroka Range, it's a great hiking area.
