| | This part of Wyoming is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. In the Wind River Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. At Chilcoot Trail you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Visit Sylvan Creek while you're here at Chilcoot Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder Creek.

Range has it all. Take a side tour to Whisky Creek. There's so much to do here at Chilcoot Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Big Sandy Campground is a great spot for that. At this river you will always have a good time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything
| Chilcoot Trail has to offer, you can camp at Scab Creek Campground. Chilcoot Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking it is great fun any time.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Chilcoot Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is a good choice. At Chilcoot Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Chilcoot Trail tend to be in the-10's.
