Cottonwood Trail

  It's a long drive from Rock Springs to Cottonwood Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great. Hiking trails are all over the Wind River Range, it's a great hiking area. Gotta get out of the city man, and Cottonwood Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is the outdoors at it's best.
Wyoming has so much to offer nature lovers. There's so much to do here at Cottonwood Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Big Sandy Campground is a tremendous
    location for that. Visit Whisky Creek if you're here at Cottonwood Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Bull Lake Creek. Don't leave Cottonwood Trail without popping by Shoshone National Forest; get yourself into a kayak and hit
Boulder Creek. Stay the night at Scab Creek Campground. Around Cottonwood Trail you donít get a lot of rain. Most of the rain falls during May, and February is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year at Cottonwood Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is a little colder of course, regularly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's while Cottonwood Trail nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's.
