Cougar Pass Trail

A long drive separates Jackson from Cougar Pass Trail, but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.     Pass Trail is Double Cabin Campground. There's whitewater on Shoshone River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people, and Cougar Pass is another great place to check out nearby. Why not camp at Circle Up Camper Court Shop since
you're here at Cougar Pass Trail, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Greybull River. Cougar Creek is a pretty stream that is worth visiting. All through the warm months at Cougar Pass Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cougar Pass Trail. Cougar Pass Trail gets very little rain. For the period of the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.
