Crandall Cutoff Trail

  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Park County of Wyoming, Crandall Cutoff Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Absaroka Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. This part of Wyoming has a great deal of available outdoors activities.
Crandall Cutoff Trail is not very near Billings at all but it is a good trail. There's some flowing
    water nearby, North Fork Crandall Creek is a stream you can visit while here. If you come at the right time of year, Crandall Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Hoodoo Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a
visit. There are some good whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; Hunter Peak Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Stay the night at Lake Creek Campground. Crandall Cutoff Trail is a good site of typical rain. The wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. During the summertime, highs typically are in the 70's at Crandall Cutoff Trail with night lows in  
the 30's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Crandall Cutoff Trail.
