Crandall Trail

  A long drive separates Billings from Crandall Trail, but It's always fun to hike here. In the Absaroka Range you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Crandall Trail in Park County, Wyoming is the outdoors at it's best. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Wyoming.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks
    Fork Yellowstone River. There's so much to do here at Crandall Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Fox Creek Campground is a good location for that. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Crandall Creek. You'll
need more than a day to look at everything Crandall Trail has to offer, you can camp at Crazy Creek Campground. Summer at Crandall Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Crandall Trail through the winter commonly plunge into the 0's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Crandall Trail. June is the wettest month with most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month.
