| | With so many outdoors activities available in Wyoming you'll never get bored. Many miles from the nearest city you have Crossover Trail and hiking it is great fun any time. Hiking trails are all over the Wind River Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
High temperatures at Crossover Trail throughout the days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Crossover Trail drop into the-10's. |
Gotta get out of the city man, and Crossover Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is a perfect place for getting out. Sheep Creek is a stream that you may come across while here, and Bonneville Basin is a pleasant place.
Crossover Trail is a location that is pretty dry mostly;
| most of the rain falls throughout May while February is mostly the driest month. Just can't get enough of Crossover Trail. There's so much to do here at Crossover Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Scab Creek Campground is a wonderful spot for that; you can stay the night at Big Sandy Campground.
Raid Creek flows through this region, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bull Lake Creek. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Very great water | |

scenery is available at Silver Lake Dam right next door to Crossover Trail, and Boulder Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
