  This part of Wyoming has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Because E-k Trail is very far from civilization hiking it is great fun any time. E-k Trail is pretty dried out generally; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Powder River - Middle Fork. At E-k Trail throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; night lows at E-k Trail through the winter mostly drop into the-10's.
