| | Green Mountain Trail is a long drive away from Jackson but what a great place for hiking it is. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Green Mountain Trail in Teton County, Wyoming is such a great place. Not much rain falls here at Green Mountain Trail; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; August is the month with the least moisture.
A river like this is too good to miss. Bitch Creek is a nice whitewater spot next to Green Mountain Trail, and Cave Falls Campground is a tremendous campground here. In Wyoming |
you never run out of outdoors fun. In the Teton Range there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
A journey to Grand Teton National Park is worthwhile, and camping at Green Mountain Trail is wonderful fun, Teton Campground is a wonderful local campground.
| A good site for whitewater paddling close to Green Mountain Trail is Bitch Creek. High temperatures at Green Mountain Trail through the days of summer are in the 70's, and the night is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Green Mountain Trail dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Teton Range. Some nearby water includes Tin Cup Creek; you'll meet a lot of folks from Jackson here. | |
