| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Half Moon Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is the outdoors at it's best. Wyoming is a great outdoors state. Half Moon Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Half Moon Trail is commonly a reasonably arid spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Half Moon Trail reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures |
fall down into the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Half Moon Trail.
There are many hiking trails in the Wind River Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. Upper Half Moon Campground is a pleasant local campground,
| and if you come at the right time of year, Pole Creek offers some good whitewater. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. Half Moon Trail is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Half Moon Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder Creek.
