It is very arid here at Highline Trail frequently; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Highline Trail being so far away from the nearest city hiking it is always fun. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Highline Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is such a great place.

Summertime highs at Highline Trail typically tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Highline Trail. It's a good idea to take a look at Boundary
| Creek, it's right next door to Highline Trail, and do pop by Boulter Dam since you're here. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Don't forget to take a magnificent little spree to Fish Creek, and paddling on Bull Lake Creek is so much fun.
At this river you will never have a bad time. Why not camp at Scab Creek Campground if you're here at Highline Trail, and a wonderful place to camp here at Highline Trail is Big Sandy Campground. | |
