| | As long as you like the outdoors you will like Wyoming. Hiking trails are all over the Wind River Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Highline Trail in Sublette County, Wyoming is a great place to go.
For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Highline Trail. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Highline Trail tend to be in |
the-10's. Whitewater paddling is great on Green River. Highline Trail gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is mostly the driest month.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Wind River Range
| has to offer. Stay the night at Whiskey Grove Campground, and get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek. Highline Trail being so far away from the nearest city when you hike it you're always having a good time. Nearby Gunsight Pass is a wonderful site to go if you're at Highline Trail, and Roaring Fork Basin is a tremendous site here at Highline Trail.
Rawhide Ranch is a brilliant campground here, and a nice place like Ryan Park here at Highline Trail is too great to miss. | |
