Lincoln Trail gets very little rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork, and at Lincoln Trail you always meet someone from Laramie.
