| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Sublette County of Wyoming, Little Half Moon Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Wind River Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. Because Little Half Moon Trail is very far from civilization it is a great escape from the city. Half Moon Campground is a perfect site for that; Pole Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This river is so perfect. Throughout the summer months at Little Half Moon Trail temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course,
| typically in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Little Half Moon Trail drop into the-10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. Little Half Moon Trail is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground; paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. It is very dried out here at Little Half Moon Trail ordinarily; through May this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month.
