out. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Little Sandy Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, Dickinson Creek Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
| paddling on Middle Popo Agie River.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Sandy Trail. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Little Sandy Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. A quick tour to Little Sandy Creek in the vicinity of Little Sandy Trail is a splendid idea. Not much rain falls here at Little Sandy Trail; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
