Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Absaroka Range, it's a great hiking area. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Marston Pass Trail in Fremont County, Wyoming is such a great place. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too wonderful to be true. Stay the night at Pinnacle Campground. It is very dry here at Marston Pass Trail mostly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Brooks Lake Campground is a great campground     here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Shoshone River - South Fork. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Marston Pass Trail; through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Marston Pass Trail all through the wintertime mostly descend into the-10's.
