In the Absaroka Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Glide down the rapids of Shoshone River - North Fork
    in a kayak; Threemile Campground is a wonderful local campground. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Nearby Eagle Pass is a delightful spot to go if you're at Mountain Creek Trail, and why not camp at Pahaska Campground
while you're here at Mountain Creek Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River - South Fork. At Mountain Creek Trail you donít see much rainfall. Most of the rain falls through June, and October is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Mountain Creek Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mountain Creek Trail are in the-10's.
