Roosevelt Trail

  A visit to Wyoming is not complete without some hiking. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Roosevelt Trail in Sheridan County, Wyoming is a perfect place for getting out. There are many hiking trails in the Bighorn Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. You'll have to go far from Sheridan to get to Roosevelt Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
You're sure to come
    across some great people from Wolf here; whitewater paddling is perfect on Tongue River. Just can't get enough of the Bighorn Mountains. Everybody loves Bighorn National Forest, and Tongue River Campground is a good campground nearby.
Don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Sibley Creek; you can stay the night at Twin Lakes Campground. Visit Alden Creek while you're here at Roosevelt Trail, and get soaked paddling on Tongue River. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Roosevelt Trail is so good!. At Roosevelt Trail you donít see much rainfall. April is when you get the most snow here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the months  
of summer at Roosevelt Trail highs are frequently in the 60's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Roosevelt Trail nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
