  There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Wind River Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. Outdoors people generally like this part of Wyoming. Seneca Lake Trail is a long drive away from Riverton but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Sublette County of Wyoming, Seneca Lake Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg
    stretching. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling close to Seneca Lake Trail is Boulder Creek. There's so much to do here at Seneca Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Half Moon Campground is a great site for
that. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Pole Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Seneca Lake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Trails End Campground. For the period of the warm days of summer at Seneca Lake Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs  
are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Seneca Lake Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Seneca Lake Trail is frequently a quite dried up site. The month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest.
