| | This part of Wyoming is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Rawhide Ranch is a perfect campground nearby, and glide down the rapids of Wind River in a kayak. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Shoshone Trail while night lows are frequently in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Shoshone Trail throughout the winter regularly sink into the 10's.

Shoshone Trail in Park County, Wyoming is just the place. Crescent Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at; why not stop at close by Bliss Creek since you're here at Shoshone Trail. There are many hiking trails in the Absaroka Range, there's no better way to enjoy

At Shoshone Trail you don’t see much rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the driest month. Stay the night at Pinnacle Campground, and paddling on Shoshone River - South Fork is so much fun.
