Snake River Trail

  A visit to Wyoming is not complete without some hiking. You'll have to go far from Jackson to get to Snake River Trail but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Fox Creek flows through this vicinity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Snake River. Snake River Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Turpin Meadow Campground is a fine local campground. If you're stopping by Snake River Trail from Moran, you won't be the only one, and Fox Park
    Flat is right here at Snake River Trail. Camping at Hatchet Campground is always a great experience, and there's some flowing water nearby, Plateau Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. From a rain point of view Snake
River Trail is a relatively normal place. January is the wettest month with most snow while July is regularly the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Snake River Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Snake River Trail dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
