  Hiking here in Wyoming is a must. There are many hiking trails in the Park Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, if you happen to be in Carbon County of Wyoming, State Line Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. At State Line Trail through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at State Line Trail drop into the 0's.
State Line
    Trail is a very long way away from civilization and what a great place for hiking it is. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Park Range. Paddling on North Platte River is so much fun; do stop at Davis Creek while you're here at State Line
Trail.
Whitewater paddling is splendid on Encampment River, and Lakeside Campground is a fine campground here. State Line Trail is pretty dehydrated typically; most of the rain falls throughout May, and January is when it's the driest. This river is so good. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground is a great site to camp.
