All year is a wonderful time in the Bighorn Mountains if you like the outdoors. Camping at Little Goose Campground is always a magnificent experience, and camping is available at East Fork Campground. At Tepee Trail all through the days of summer highs are in the 60's while overnight |

lows are generally in the 30's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Tepee Trail fall into the 0's. In the Bighorn Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these
| mountains.
Pretty far from Sheridan you find Tepee Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Tongue River is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Tepee Trail; at Tepee Trail you always meet someone from Sheridan. Not much precipitation falls here at Tepee Trail; the month of April is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is February.
