Summer brings highs in the 80's to Troublesome Trail. For the period of the dark hours     of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Troublesome Trail temperatures fall to the 0's. There are some great whitewater spots on North Platte River, and if you came for an overnight stay Saratoga Camper Trailer Court is a good site to camp. There's whitewater on Encampment River for all you adrenaline junkies. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Troublesome Trail in Carbon County, Wyoming is the outdoors at it's best.
