This place, Valley Trail, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Bannock Falls is always fun to check out, and don’t forget to explore Lupine Meadows since you're here at Valley Trail. Valley Trail is typically a rather dehydrated place; May is the wettest month with most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Wyoming is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Valley Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Jenny Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that; getting to Glacier Creek from Valley Trail is easy. Near Valley Trail you hit upon good places like Garnet Canyon.
| Glide down the rapids of Ditch Creek in a kayak, and at Valley Trail you always meet someone from Jackson. Valley Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gros Ventre Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Glacier Falls is a tremendous local attraction. If you haven’t been to Grand Teton National Park, you must schedule some time for it since you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Gros Ventre River offers some great whitewater.
