| | Whiskey Mountain Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it sure is a nice trail. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Fremont County of Wyoming, Whiskey Mountain Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Wyoming is a great outdoors state. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Wind River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's some flowing water nearby, Wasson Creek is a stream you can pop by while here.

Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Whiskey Mountain Trail while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Whiskey Mountain Trail
| drop into the 10's. Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a fine campground here; Soapstone Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. In the Wind River Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
It is very dried up here at Whiskey Mountain Trail generally; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Paddling on Wind River - East Fork is so much fun; you can stay the night at Rawhide Ranch.
