Wind River Trail

  A long drive separates Riverton from Wind River Trail, but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Wyoming is a great place for hikers. Wind River Trail is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Brown Mountain Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Wind River - East Fork, and Wood River Campground is a good campground nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Wind River
    Trail. The month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is typically the driest month. All through the long summer days, highs generally are in the 80's at Wind River Trail, and through the night it cools down to
the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Wind River Trail plunge into the 10's.
