Brown Mountain Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby. Hiking trails are all over the Absaroka Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Greybull River; a fine site to stop at is
| Bull Elk Draw. While visiting this area in Wyoming it's a good idea to go hiking too. Take a little visit to Anderson Creek if you're here at Zig-Zag Trail; Jack Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground. At Zig-Zag Trail during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Zig-Zag Trail are in the 10's. Not much rain falls here at Zig-Zag Trail; May is the month that gets the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. | |
