Jack Creek Campground is a great site. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Shoshone River - South Fork. A great spot to stop by next to Zig-Zag Trail is Bull Elk Draw, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Betty Creek.

The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Zig-Zag Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
