Can’t wait to get out in nature, Lake Elsner Trail in Valdez-Cordova Borough, Alaska is just what you need. Alaska has so much to offer nature lovers. Stay the night at Pete Dahl Cabin - Chugach National Forest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Glacier River. And that's not all the things to do here in the Chugach Mountains. Tiedeman Slough Cabin - Chugach National Forest is a good campground nearby, and glide down the rapids of Power Creek in a kayak. Lake Elsner Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall. The wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Lake Elsner Trail throughout the warm months are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's.
