Paradise Valley Trail

The trail was built in the 1930s and stopped being maintained in the 1940s.  All that is left is remnants of the trail and a bunch of flagging tape.

Pretty far from Anchorage you find Paradise Valley Trail but it is a great escape from the city. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Kenai Peninsula Borough of Alaska, Paradise Valley Trail is a great local trail for doing
a bit of leg stretching. If you came to camp Lower Paradise Lake Cabin - Chugach National Forest is a delightful location to do that, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on
Nellie Juan River. There's so much to do here at Paradise Valley Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Primrose Landing Campground is a wonderful site for that. Do pay a visit to Kenai Fjords National Park while you're here at Paradise Valley Trail. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Whitewater Outfitter - Backcountry Safaris. Throughout the long summer days here at Paradise Valley Trail, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 60's, and all through
summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Paradise Valley Trail are in the 20's. The high level of rain makes Paradise Valley Trail a relatively wet site. Of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
