Petersburg Trail

  Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Petersburg Trail in Wrangell-Petersburg Borough, Alaska is just the place. A visit to Alaska is not complete without some hiking. Camping at Twin Creek RV Park is always a good experience, and folks from Petersburg love to come here. Camping is available at Le Conte RV Park, and Tongass National Forest is a great site to go. Petersburg Trail is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain. The month of October is the wettest
    with most of the rain, and June is when it's the driest. For the period of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 60's at Petersburg Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs
are commonly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Petersburg Trail temperatures fall to the 20's.
