  It's a long drive from Anchorage to Seven Lakes Trail but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. This part of Alaska is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Camping is available at Sunrise Inn and RV Park, and why not camp at Trout Lake Cabin - Chugach National Forest since you're here at Seven Lakes Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Seven Lakes Trail. The month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and April meanwhile is
    the driest month. At Seven Lakes Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Seven Lakes Trail temperatures descend to the 0's.
