  Simons Trail being so far away from the nearest city you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Wrangell Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Simons Trail in Valdez-Cordova Borough, Alaska is a really good place to spend some time.

    Creek, it's near Simons Trail, and White River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Wrangell Mountains. Simons Trail is right next
door to Alder Gulch which is undeniably worth stopping at. The warmest time of the year at Simons Trail comes with high temperatures in the 60's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the-20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Simons Trail sink into the-30's. Around Simons Trail you donít get a lot of rainfall. July is when you get the most rain here while March is generally the driest month.
