Boston Cutoff   Finally, hiking time is here again, and Boston Cutoff in Newton County, Arkansas is a perfect place for getting out. Arkansas has lots of outdoors activities. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Boston Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Pretty far from Harrison you find Boston Cutoff but it is a great escape from the city. There are plenty of folks from Ozone here at Boston Cutoff; you are close to Shaft Point while you're     here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Boston Mountains has to offer. It's a delightful idea to stop at Willis Creek, it's right next door to Boston Cutoff, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Piney Creek. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Adkins / Hailstone Creek, and Boston Cutoff is close to Ozark National Forest which is a gorgeous location. Camping at Dogwood Campground is always a magnificent experience, and if you're here, you could go to West Fork Big Piney Creek. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do next to Boston Cutoff.   Boston Cutoff gets lots of water. For the period of the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. For the period of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Boston Cutoff with nighttime lows in the 60's.
