Hurricane Trail

  With so many outdoors activities available in Arkansas you'll never get bored. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Boston Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Hurricane Trail in Newton County, Arkansas is a good choice.
It's a long drive from Harrison to Hurricane Trail but trails like these are great. Boss Hollow is in close proximity to Hurricane Trail and is a glorious place, and
    while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Pelsor. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a wonderful time. Get soaked paddling on Boss Hollow; a glorious location like Ozark National Forest is too splendid
to leave out. If you came for an overnight stay Richland Creek wildernes Post is a delightful place to camp; glide down the rapids of Left Hand Prong in a kayak. Dogwood Campground is a great local campground. Hurricane Trail sees pretty high levels of precipitation. The month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is January. During the long summer days at Hurricane Trail highs are mostly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the  
60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Hurricane Trail.
