Turkey Trail   Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Turkey Trail in Newton County, Arkansas is a great place to go. With so many outdoors activities available in Arkansas you'll never get bored. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Boston Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. You'll have to go far from Harrison to get to Turkey Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great. Tow Point is in     the vicinity and always great to stop at. Camping at Dad's Dream RV Park is always a magnificent experience; there are plenty of folks from Deer here at Turkey Trail. Everybody loves Ozark National Forest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Adkins / Hailstone Creek. Turkey Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dogwood Campground is a great local campground. Get soaked paddling on Big Piney Creek, and since you're here, you could visit Bear Creek. You definitely should go for Turkey Trail. Why not stop by nearby Walnut Creek if you're here at Turkey Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Turkey Trail a wet spot. The month of May is the wettest with most   of the rain; the driest month of the year is January. At Turkey Trail through the summertime highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Turkey Trail tend to be in the 20's.
