Bear Lake Trail
| | Bear Lake was surely a disappointment! I'd heard it had good fishing, but after puffing up a long, steep, and confusing trail (we lost our way more than once, delaying our arrival about an hour) we found the lake nearly dry; muddy, and infested with mosquitoes! Next time I'll save myself the bother and fish the Conejos. Says Big Dave

The wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that snows the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Bear Lake Trail; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 40's.
