Cascade Trail   I LOVED the Cascade Trail. We hiked up to the waterfall and then back to Crater Lake and I still think it's the best hike I've done in Colorado, even though it was one of my first. I'd love to go back there and hike it again sometime. You're away from civilization and the hike is up and down the whole way. Says Danielle You'll have to go far from Boulder to get to Cascade Trail but It's always fun to hike here. We all need to get out in nature once in     a while and Cascade Trail in Grand County, Colorado is a great place to go. Colorado has so much to offer nature lovers. Hiking trails are all over the Front Range, it's a great hiking area. Boulder Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; the sights at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Saint Vrain Creek - North. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cascade Trail has to offer, you can camp at Crater Lake Campground. Time spent at Surprise Beach in the neighborhood of Cascade Trail is always wonderful. There's so much   to do here at Cascade Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pawnee Lake Campground is a tremendous location for that. Thunderbolt Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting. Around Cascade Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation.
