Fryingpan Trail   When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Fryingpan Trail in Routt County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Park Range, it's a great hiking area. Fryingpan Trail is not very near Laramie at all but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking. Camping is available at Helena Campground, and Routt National Forest     is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit. Yeah, come up here to the Park Range for a tremendous time. If you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Campground is a good place to camp, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Elk River. Encampment River is a good whitewater spot next to Fryingpan Trail. At Fryingpan Trail you don’t see much rainfall. The month of April is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. Summertime highs at Fryingpan Trail generally tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
