Half Moon Trail   You'll have to go far from Edwards to get to Half Moon Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Half Moon Trail in Eagle County, Colorado is a great place to go. No chance of getting bored in Colorado if you like the outdoors. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Sawatch Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. A good spot near Half Moon Trail is Half     Moon Pass, and Gold Park Campground is a delightful campground nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cross Creek. Getting to East Cross Creek from Half Moon Trail is uncomplicated, and Eagle River is a great whitewater spot close by. If you came for an overnight stay Half Moon Campground is a great location to camp. White River National Forest is both great and wonderful, and it's near Half Moon Trail; you're sure to stumble upon some great people from Minturn here. So many cool things in the neighborhood of Half Moon Trail, truly incredible. During   the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Half Moon Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Half Moon Trail temperatures descend to the 0's.
