Highline Trail

  A long drive separates Durango from Highline Trail, but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Hey, time for a hike donít you think? Highline Trail in Mineral County, Colorado is the outdoors at it's best. In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
Colorado is a good place for outdoors people. A pleasant place to camp here at Highline Trail
    is Mining Camp RV Resort, and why not take a look at Hunters Lake Dam since you're here. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Camping at Broken Arrow Ranch is always a perfect experience,
and get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some good whitewater. Highline Trail is a location that is quite dried up regularly. The wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June. High temperatures at Highline Trail during the months of summer are in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Highline Trail are in the-10's.
