King Lake Trail   A visit to Colorado is not complete without some hiking. In the Front Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. King Lake Trail is located quite a long drive from Boulder but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Gotta get out of the city man, and King Lake Trail in Boulder County, Colorado is a good choice. Boulder Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and you don’t have to go far from King Lake Trail to see the water at Skyscraper Dam. King Lake Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fourth of July Campground is a great local campground. A tour to Golden Gate Canyon State Park invigorates the spirit. For the period of the warm months at King Lake Trail highs are regularly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.   The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows all through the winter for King Lake Trail tend to be in the 0's. King Lake Trail is pretty arid regularly. The month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
