Loop Trail

| worth a visit. Don't forget to take a tremendous little visit to Lake Fork North Crestone Creek, and Lake Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Rio Grande National Forest is a good location to stretch your legs a bit, and nearby you hit upon Venable Pass which is a fine place to explore. Trail gets very little precipitation. The month with most of the rain is August while January is usually the driest month. Summertime at Loop Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
