Mount Audubon Trail
| | Walking the Mt. Audubon trail is physically exhausting, but the sight-seeing you get to do the entire way up is amazing. I must have taken at least 20 photos on the trip up alone. And once you clear the tree line, it's an entirely different world. You can see (literally) for miles. And the view at the summit is transfixing--I stayed up there for an hour just looking around. Definetely worth the trip to Colorado. Bring lots of food and drink, though. It's tough. Says |

Mount Audubon Trail is not very near Boulder at all but hiking it is great fun any time. Gotta get out of the city man, and Mount Audubon Trail in Boulder County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time.
| In the Front Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. There's so much to do here at Mount Audubon Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Mitchell Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that. Beaches are good; and Surprise Beach in the vicinity of Mount Audubon Trail is no exception, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Saint Vrain | |
