  If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Payne Creek Trail in Park County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out. Payne Creek Trail is a trail quite far from Boulder but It's always fun to hike here.
In the Front Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River
    - North Fork. Places like Pike National Forest are splendid to stop by, and a great place to explore is Payne Gulch. Roark Creek is a fine location to go to; if you came to camp Lost Park Campground is a glorious spot to do that.
While you're here at Payne Creek Trail you will meet lots of people from nearby Bailey, and some of the water nearby flows, like Payne Creek. Payne Creek Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Creek Campground is a good local campground. South Platte River - North Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. At Payne Creek Trail during the days of summer highs are in the 60's with night lows in the 30's. All through the winter highs are  
in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Payne Creek Trail tend to be in the 0's. From a precipitation point of view Payne Creek Trail is a reasonably typical site. For the duration of April this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is June.
